Study Tour – Cartagena – October 2nd – 5th

 

The study tour is traditionally a combination of factory visits and social and cultural activities. The objetive of the Study Tour is twofold:

  • To offer participants a quick but valuable insight into the apparel industry of the host country.
  • To offer a unique and memorable experience as a great backdrop for creating lasting business and global relations in the apparel industry.

This year’s study tour meets these objectives very well. as Medellín is the heart of Colombia’s vibrant fashion industry. Cartagena is Medellin’s cultural pearl, sitting beautifully on the Caribbean coast.

 

  1. Thursday 2nd October

    8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
    Visit to two Colombian Business Facilities.

    11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
    Trip to Metro Station Alpujarra – Metrocable – Parque Arví.

    12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    Lunch in Parque Arví and departure for the airport.

    7:00 p.m.
    Flight Medellín – Cartagena.

    9:00 p.m.
    Dinner in the city.

  2. Friday 3rd October

    9:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
    Gabriel García Márquez Tour.

    12:00 m. – 2:00 p.m.
    Lunch.

    2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    Touristic Tour of Old Town Cartagena.

    7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m
    Dinner in the city.

  3. Saturday 4th October

    8:00 a.m. – 12 m.
    Free Morning.

    12 m. – 2:00 p.m.
    Lunch.

    2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Tour of Bocagrande.

    5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    Catamarán Tour.

    8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
    Dinner in the hotel.

  4. Sunday 5th October

    8:00 a.m.
    Hotel – Airport.
    Return to city / place of origin.
